Ideas worth spreading—TED Talks at Widener University!
TEDxWidenerUniversity aims to spark life-changing ideas and meaningful conversation that will improve our communities and our world.
Save the Date: September 26, 2024
Join us for our next TEDx event on September 26, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm in Alumni Auditorium at Widener University’s Chester Campus. We will have an exciting lineup of thought-provoking talks that are sure to spark ideas worth spreading.
A limited number of tickets will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWidenerUniversity, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWidenerUniversity event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxWidenerUniversity is a nonprofit organization licensed by TED, hosted by Widener University, and managed by Widener student, faculty, and staff volunteers. Understanding that one’s power to affect change in the world is limited to one’s sphere of influence, we want to use the TEDx platform to share ideas worth spreading and spark conversations and deep discussions that will improve our community and our world.
